GAME 21 - OKLAHOMA (15-5) vs VANDERBILT (16-4) 2:30pm CST on SEC NETWORK

Just something to ponder. Someone mentioned how important it was that Fears was back on track and poured in 21. I said it was very good but I really like we have a guy off the bench that scores 14. Now the question. Would you rather your starter get his points or a bench player come in and get 14? Admittedly, both had a couple of trash points late. We probably can't win without Fears giving the Sooners 15-20. But would we win more games if Dayton can score 14 from the bench? Just something to discuss.

I don't know what the rest of the season holds, but I can't imagine a finer half of basketball being played by any team this season. That was awesome, and these guys should be commended. Free Forsythe !!

We are really a completely different team depending upon how fears play. Completely different. I have really grown to appreciate just how good a player Moore has become. Just brings it with such consistency. I hope the NBA works out for him as he also seems like such a good kid. I got to meet him before the season and he is just such a well spoken kid. Got to meet Mo and Dayton as well. All three spent a minute or two talking to my wife and I and thanked us for coming out to the practice.

On Dayton, he looks really short on TV to me. But, in person, I was surprised at how tall he appeared. I talked to him after practice and he had his shirt off and the kid is pretty jacked. You would be surprised. After the preseason scrimmage I watched, I thought he could play at the power 5 level but wasn't sure how well. But, he is playing much "tougher" in games then I saw in the scrimmage. He really has looked like a pretty good player recently. What ever that stat is that identifies whether how the team does when a kid is on the court has to be really high for Dayton. I saw him shoot the ball well from the perimeter in the scrimmage, but am surprised at how well he has been able to take people off the dribble and how well he has finished in the paint. BTW, his brother Denton is a doppleganger. Same size, same look, same game, same shot and plays just like him.. Hopefully we are recruiting him.

Not currently recruiting Denton. He’s on some smaller d1 offer lists.

Not sure his upside is the same. Overall.
