RPI is the most overrated aspect of NCAA seeding...the selection committee has been quoted that it is a very casual number they look at. This loss doesn't hurt their seeding at all, the suspensions will be remembered.

It will hurt, just not as much as normal. It is, however, good for us. ORU is a good team.

I don't care how many suspensions there are, going into Xavier and winning like that is tough. Look at how Cincy responded...

I would argue that seeding -- especially in the top 9 seeds -- follows RPI very closely. I'm sure there is data out there to prove me right or very wrong, but I believe you would see a strong correlation if you looked back.
