Keep telling yourselves that it isn't a big loss. Maybe it is, maybe it isn't. If they can choke away a 22 pt lead to a bad team. They can choke away a spot in the tournament. This team isn't in the tourney yet.
Seriously, anyone that thinks this is "one of the worst losses in OU history" is a t-shirt fan with little to no knowledge or perspective about OU basketball history. Go ahead and go back to furiously scouring the Internet for OU football recruiting tidbits.
If you just look at the game alone it was one of the worse losses I have seen (and I have seen a LOT). I think you mean it is only one game in a long season and that is also true.
The worse part about this game to me is that it did not just spring up from nowhere. We've had smaller (but not significantly smaller) versions of this in several games (both wins and losses). We all know things could be a lot worse but it is still difficult to watch these episodes.
If we can take care of home court on Saturday (will be a very difficult game), then we will be just fine. This one was very difficult to watch but it is just part of the growing process of our team. How these guys handle it and bounce back is what is important here. :OU-logo:
