Someone mentioned he rolled an ankle in practice a couple of weeks ago. Doolittle only played 3 1/2 minutes in the first half last night and just 9 minutes the entire game. Only Polla played less minutes. Some of that might have been letting Freeman play in front of his family.

Got hit in practice, I think it was just rest more than anything along with freeman playing at home!

Ironically Freeman only played 16 minutes. Doolittle and Polla were the only players who played less.

I don’t think you can tell much from MINUTES PLAYED in exhibition games.

Minutes Played in New Zealand
23 .. Jordan Shepherd (11 assists; 9 points)
21 .. Rashard Odomes (11 points; 7 rebounds)
20 .. Christian James (13 points; 4 rebounds)
19 .. Khadeem Lattin (16 points; 7 rebounds; 5 steals)
19 .. Trae Young (21 points; 4 assists)
19 .. Ty Lazenby (9 points; 4 assists)
17 .. Brady Manek (17 points; 3 rebounds)
16 .. Matt Freeman (8 points; 2 rebounds)
16 .. Kameron McGusty (8 points; 2 rebounds)
14 .. Jamuni McNeace (9 points; 4 rebounds)
09 .. Kristian Doolittle (3 points; 3 rebounds)
07 .. Hannas Polla (9 points; 1 rebound)

All 12 players were productive. Hannes Polla did not miss a shot.

The stats Traveler posted do tell us one thing: This team has tons of potential and more quality depth than we have seen in years.

We'll know more when the tour is over. But I was well satisfied with what I saw on offense in last night's game. The defense will come in time.

13/29 from the arc. wow. thats on the road, on the other side of the world, with serious jet lag, after marching up a steep hill, and with a bunch of newbs. The Aucks defense had some to do with that, but not more than the actual shooting ability of these kids. I am excited to see how they hit at home under more ideal basketball conditions.

Doolittle is the only guy who isn't playing up to his ability right now. Don't know if it is injury or something else but he is a much more talented than he is playing in practice.
