against UTA? I couldnt watch and wondered if he was full speed. Didnt sound like he was. Any report on his ankle/leg?

He did a lot of nice things, more early than late. I did not see him limping or in pain.

Looked to be favoring it a bit, IMO. Not bad, but he just didn't seem as physical or as explosive to me. I'm sure he'll be fine shortly.

I agree. He had a nice game but he was not jumping as high and as dominant on the glass as he has been.

Agreed. Woodard wasn't himself either, especially in the second half. The pained expression on his face, the bending over to catch his breath and his body language on the bench, seemed to suggest that he was sick or something was hurting him. I don't buy the idea that he was gassed.

Anyone know what was wrong?

Could be wrong, but I really believe Woodard hurt his knee on an ill-fated drive about midway into the second half. I'm referring to the one where he tripped and fell while trying to split two defenders. He was noticeably limping after that play and continued to favor that leg the rest of the way.

Still, there may have been something else (illness?) at play.

I doubt it. Kruger would have sat him even if OU loses the game before risking any damage to his knee. Woodard cannot be lost, especially with Hornbeak out and Kruger knows this. If he hurt his knee Alex Brown had no reason to believe it was anything more than a bruise.

I do agree that he had a play where he looked like he got banged up but I think it was more in the nature of bruising based on him not coming out of the game.

Well, that's just it. Kruger did take Woodard out of the game moments after that play. But I agree that it likely wasn't serious, since coach put him back in a short time later. He did, however, continue to limp the rest of the game.

After the Texas AM game we dont have a game for 8 days so this rest we will get is much needed.
