I thought it was about television money?

Nebraska, yes, Colorado, no. I haven't seen a lot of committment to the future in athletics at all out of CU. NU is on the way to the top again it seems, but there's too much money in a media hyped-up match not to have us playing Nebraska every few years. Scheduling good OOC matchups against NU and better teams will assure us good bowl positioning, even though it sucks to lose those. I was in favor of scheduling less of those before all this, but we'll need them to stay up front.

In basketball, good OOC matchups and tournaments will only help when they're determining seeding for the top teams in the conference, along with conference tourney results, of course. We play a couple Pac-10 teams every year as it is. Felt the need to bring it back to basketball after talking foosball for a sec lol.

I wasn't guaranteeing Colorado would be back to their former self, but it isn't out of the question, either. Simply put, IMO I feel they have the potential to be a college football mainstay more so than some of the teams I previously mentioned in this thread.

And I agree that OOC scheduling is more vital for OU now that the Big 12 has taken a step back. Thankfully, Joe C. has already got that covered with match-ups against LSU, Ohio State, Tennessee, etc. down the road. That would be great to have Nebraska as an OOC foe because not only would it beef up OU's schedule, but more importantly restore the rivalry that the Big 12 killed long ago. Unfortunately, I'm not positive Nebraska would be in favor of having a Big 10 schedule plus a possible championship game along with having to play OU, but we'll see.
