I wonder...

1. I don't hate Pledger. I do knock Pledger. I don't knock Pledger every
time the opportunity comes along. I don't have that much free time. I do
think he was a net negative for the team for the 1st 3 years. This year he
has improved his effort to the point that he is a net neutral contributor.
2. Basketball success has more to do with just scoring. You should know
that.
3. Grooms interest in getting better picked up when he lost his job. I don't
have to rely on second hand information to formulate my opions. i go to
practice.
4. Once again, I was quoting Kruger himself.

This year he
has improved his effort to the point that he is a net neutral contributor.

lol, this is gold. Third team all conference voted by the coaches and he is a net neutral player. Pledger isn't some superstar or savior, but you don't earn those type of accolades if you're "average".

And somehow he was voted to the 3rd team all conference team by the coaches. LOL

1. Wasting good internet ouhoops message board space...
2. I do know that... See Coaches all conf team, he's more than you give him credit for...
3. Disagree. Ive seen practice as well, many times. BUT for just for fun, he lost his job beginning of the year and all the sudden turned into a VERY valueable PG? All this after the season had started, he became a better shooter, better handles, etc...? NO, didnt happen oct. 15th to present, it started along time ago.
4. once again, not disagreeing that RO makes this team better.

1. It doesn't cost anything. It is hard to put much value on something that is free.
2. He may be more than I give him credit for. But, well less that what you do.
3. Your right. It was along time ago. It started at the end of last season with their end of season interviews. All of the returning players got a message. Some of them took it to heart quicker than others.
4. Fine.

Basketball IQ. Bigs make it easier for Guards and Guards make it easier for Bigs. It works together

Ever wonder why RO is so hard to guard when they pop him high and there isnt much help. Its called shooters in the corners, no one is "able" to help.

You hate Pledger, Everyone knows that, but if you cant see that he is probably the 2nd biggest reason (behind RO) we are where we are, then you my friend are blind, because of your hatred.

Pledger has improved all facets of his game this season but he still seems to lack energy/enthusiasm at certain times, usually when we need it the most. I'm not sure why this is?

I disagree about your quote "2nd biggest reason". IMO, Grooms play since the KSU game in Norman is the 2nd biggest reason because nobody was guarding him until about 3 games ago. This prevented the sagging in the lane and helped open things up for Ro. I agree that Pledger hitting shots has also helped Ro too, though. Just not as big of an impact as Grooms improvement.
