I recommend you watch this: [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vVH3Sd-XvM8[/ame]

Chills.

I was at that game. I can't remember if it was that game or the MU game the week before, but the fans cut down the nets and my daughter had a piece of the net for a long time.

I was 10 years old at the time, I remember my dad letting me stay up way past my bedtime to listen to it on my little portable radio.

Woke up all of my siblings when the Honorable Ernie Abercrombie nailed that trey.

Thanks for posting. Thanks for the memories. I remember it well. The LNC has always been a wonderful arena for basketball .. when it is full of Sooner fans.

I am hopeful we will see this again. Big boy basketball. Big time basketball. I believe it is on the way back.

Awesome! Totally awesome!

People also forget that the '95 Sooners were picked last in many preseason polls for the Big 8. I thought Kelvin worked miracles with that roster. :clap

Ryan's dad was a coach at my high school, always funny seeing him in that video.

As a side note: I just graduated this past spring (2012). I always wonder if in 15 years or so when I watch highlight videos of Blake's last year (my freshman year) everything will look so outdated!

Definitely!

I know - it is funny. Even the graphics on the telecast look antiquated. I grew up with test pattern so I have seen a lot of this. :ez-laugh:

Such a great video. I just watched it the other day as it was posted on another board, but like I said there... I was a student then, I was there, and I loved rushing the court that day. And, even to this day when I watch that video, I get goose bumps when I see Ernie Abercrombie hit that 3 from the corner... Just so very awesome.

Great memories. Please let us start getting crowds like that again.
