We are going to be in the top 15. That is all.

Our defensive fundamentals are so much better now. Last year...

would you have seen a pg lose a ball and then chase it down, blocking it into a jump ball?
would you have seen Steven Pledger strip the ball from a potential scorer?

Let's see how we play in conference first before making any predictions like this...just my opinion

We got 4 votes in the USA Today Poll. Another couple of wins and we could break into the top 25.

This is unreal...we have one loss over a 200+ ranked schedule and people are already predicting Sweet Sixteens. Pump the brakes.

The thread title is "In two years...". There is a long way to go, but it sure is fun to watch the Sooner's be successful. Even if it is against the 116th ranked SOS. Who would have thought we would have even got a sniff of the Top 25 at all this season?

Yeah hard to know what we'll be like in 2 years, considering Neal and Clark are the only guys off this team who will be around lol.

Actually, Neal, Clark and M'Baye will be around. Additionally, OU will have Hield, Hornbeak and Henry. That is a respectable group of 7 but OU will definitely need to add some good players to that group. Most notably, OU will need a pg.

I think it is great that people are excited. I also think it is reasonable to think OU will be a top 25 next year. Obviously there is a long way to go this year and OU still has much to prove but Grooms, Pledger, Clark, Osby, Fitzgerald, M'Baye, Neal and Blair is a respectable 8 man rotation with potentially two scorers coming off the bench. If Heild or Hornbeak can contribute it is a good team and they both should be able to contribute based on high school rankings. Henry, Arent and Cole add depth in the paint.

We have no idea how good Hield, Hornbeak or Henry will be, adn really only some idea about M'baye. We should be much better in '12-'13 than in '13-'14. We will be starting 4 Srs. next year.

Two years? How bout two weeks of undefeated play while ranked teams above us fall? :D

In two years we will have just lost our top 3 scores - Andrew Fitzgerald, Stephen Pledger, Romero Osby, and two senior PG's Sam Grooms and Carl Blair.

Some of you may think that some of these players arent' that great. But I bet a lot will have different opinions of them next year on Senior night. When it's all said and done Pledge and Fitz could both be 1000 pt scorers with two of the better careers in OU history.

In two years we could be pretty young and inexperienced losing so many veteran players at once.

No thanks. M’Baye and Osby will be a force. Book it.
