It is fascinating that the computer systems don't seem to be picking up on factual information any faster than the polls.

Stanford is still as high as #3, despite now having losses to Santa Clara, Texas, and Arizona State.

Tennessee is still #5 despite having lost at home to Texas and VPI (#44) and at Stanford.

Green Bay is #8 despite having lost to Virginia and Rutgers. They have a lot of non-descript wins, the best of which were Dayton and Vanderbilt (in GreenBay)

BYU is 10-4 and rated #9. Remember that OU beat BYU 73-47. They also lost a Colorado State, Georgia, and San Diego (none is a bad loss). Does beating A&M get you rated?

Abilene Christian is #12? Really? ACC was beaten 76-45 by Kansas State and 71-65 by Texas Tech. Their best win? Maybe Eastern Michigan/ I have not a clue as to how they are ranked.

I guess I'm a bit confused, Syb. What poll has Tennessee at #5?
