Interesting Story on Romney's Bracket

Going into the game, the Huffington Post reported Romney was already in the top 99.98th percentile of 11.57 million brackets filled out in ESPN's bracket challenge..

What is crazy is his wealth is likely even higher than his bracket...

What is crazy is his wealth is likely even higher than his bracket...

He is a sharp cookie and has been very successful, but his bracket success this year is nothing but luck....especially since I've never won a bracket contest.;)

Of course it is, especially hitting the Michigan State pick. Not many 7 seeds make the final four but you sure are smart when you pick the right one.

I would have had 7 of 8 Elite 8 teams had OU beaten MSU, and all Final 4 teams had OU proceeded to beat Louisville. The rest of my bracket, though...

:facepalm

Picking anybody other than Kentucky to win is a good strategic move in that if it actually happens, you'll set yourself apart from almost everybody else. It's a boom-or-bust type of pick, though. His otherwise great bracket would have taken a HUGE hit had Kentucky won it (worth a ton of points).

If he actually thought Duke had better odds of winning than Kentucky, though, I'd chalk it up to luck rather than intelligence.

But who won the bracket challenge?

I know who didn't win it. Me! I was happy to finish on the front page of the OUHoops bracket challenge. That's a lot better than my almost dead last standing after the first round. :ez-laugh:
