It's easy to forget Walker when talking about the players who could contribute in a meaningful way on this year's team. He was added to the roster late, almost like an after-thought, to give us a back up at the point.
But, judging by everything I have read and seen on video, this kid can play. He likes to play defense, which should serve him well in competing for playing time. He can also score on drives down the lane, plus he shot nearly 40% average from three in junior college last season.
If his impact is even close to the other players from Canada mentioned in this article, adding him to the roster will be viewed as a late signing period coop.
