Iowa State will win the Big 12 in 2012-2013

I wouldn't ever pick them to win the Big 12 but if they aren't in the top half of the Big 12 then Hoiberg was a bad hire.

Why they did or came very close two seasons in a row around 2001ish.

I'm pretty sure they won the regular season and conference championship in 99-00 when they had Marcus Fizer.

Eustachey had them going for a few years before he had his indiscretions. Since he was fired/resigned they've gone nowhere.

Yea I think that was States closest game, which was like 11 points, lol. Man that Spartan team was good.

I remember it was a really close game, ISU was down by 3 with about a minute left, I think. Then Eustachy got a T and kicked out of the game. And after all the free throws, it really got out of hand.
