OK. Let's get to the big four, or at least the Big Three plus Iowa State. Ii don't think Tech, TCU, OSU, Kansas, Kansas State, or West Virginia will break into the top four this year. I could see the top three going undefeated against the rest of the conference. But, Iowa State has Fennelly.
Iowa State was 18-13, 9-9 in conference play. One of those wins was against OU in Ames, 84-76 in OT in a game that they won 23-12 at the free throw line. We had problems with Nikki Moody and Brynn Williamson. The problems with Nikki tended to occur frequently. We weren't really good at guarding that type of guard last year, starting with Plum. The good news is that neither is back.
2015-2016 Roster:

5-10 JR G Seanna Johnson
6-5 Soph C Bryanna Fernstrom
5-7 Sr G Nicole Blaskowsky
Are back as starters, and
5-8 Soph (redshirt) G Jadda Buckley started before she was hurt.
6-0 Soph G Emily Durr will be a factor. They still have faith in
6-3 Fr (redshirt) Claire Ricketts who was injured after three games.
The Recruiting Class:
6-1 Fr G Bridget Carleton
5-11 Fr G Tee Tee Starks #39
6-3 Fr F Meredith Burkhall #45
Carleton was on the Canadian U-16, U-17, and U-18 teams. She was a captain of the latter. She is good. I can remember being interested in Burkhall. This is a good class.
Iowa State has a number of good young stars, and they may well be on the rise. This year, I suspect that the loss of Moody and Williamson will limit them a bit. But, they are young and talented. This team should be a solid contender with Texas for #3. I think OU is a step above both, but not by much.

They get Duke in Mexico, but not much else.
