Is OU done recruiting for the year?

Like this year’s team? Count me in!

yes...our 2 transfers this year have really helped out. Yes, Austin is a stud...but I def think having those two step up have helped him as well as the whole team.

I'm 100% in favor of using ship 11,12 and 13 to develop guys with upsides. That has nothing to do with having a hole at the 5 position in the top 7 rotation.

This is happening at pretty much every school not a blue blood in regards to bigs. Teams are always going to take a flyer on a big and hope they develop. There is little reason to do this at guard but for bigs...that's the way of the world for schools not named Kentucky, etc.

This is my biggest complaint with Lon's affection for the Kuaths, Garangs and Issanzas of the world. We have to teach them the game. How in the world are they going to help as members of the scout team if we're forced to bring them up to speed on the basics of the game?

There are guys out there like Harkless all over the place. Slightly undersized, but BALLERS. We'll have much more luck bringing in guys like that than fruitlessly pursuing Top-50 HS talent. Bring them in, keep them four years, and get OLD. That's how you win at the University of Oklahoma.

I understand the point, but disagree that there are guys like Harkless “all over the place.” Dude is an ELITE defender and rebounder (for a guard), is good in transition, finishes at the rim, can knock down an open jump shot, and has displayed a clutch gene. Those guys do not grow on trees.
