Isaiah Cousins getting great draft buzz

Thunder don't have a draft pick, so wouldn't hold out too much hope for them to get him

Please no, I don't want to hate Isaiah...would love to see the Thunder scoop him up if at all possible...would fit in well with what they are trying to do...

Isaiah would have to be available at 39 or 40 for the Thunder to get him.

Thunder have 2 second rounders. The Hornets pick and the Kings pick. So they have either # 39 or 40 & #59.

Steve Kyler, who has a decent following, has Cousins going to the Clippers at 25. How incredible it would be for Cousins to get in the first round. Thought it was interesting to see they have him listed at 6' 6". I wonder when this measurement was taken. If cousins is truly that tall, he will find a place on a nba team. Here is the link.

Cousins is 6' 3 1/4" barefoot. 6' 4 1/2" in shoes.

The Clips have some of the worst depth in the League, and Doc Rivers likes his "proven commodities" over younger guys... I can see the fit. On the downside, Isaiah would be stuck behind the 6th Man of the Year and the coach's kid on the depth chart at either guard position. He's probably BETTER than Austin Rivers, mind you, but dad mortgaged the whole bench and a mess of draft picks to pick up sonny boy.

Austin rivers did opt out of his contract if that has any bearing on doc's thinking.

I have no idea where you got that information, but it's not true. Pick #39 went from Denver to Philly to New Orleans. Pick #40 went from Sacramento to New Orleans. Pick #59 went from San Antonio to Sacramento. OKC never had the rights to any of those picks.

OKC acquired Charlotte's 2016 2nd round pick (#53) in the Lamb trade, but OKC then traded that pick and their own 2016 2nd round pick (#56) in the Randy Foye trade.

As dahl said, OKC doesn't have a 2016 pick.
