WVU 52-33 at half.

No word on ISU travel problems. :D

This is the most brutal conference in the country to play in.

Anyone can beat you any night. On another note, if WVU and KU win tonight, OU will be in third place, a half game behind second and a full game ahead of fourth.

If we can take care of business over the next three games, we will be in good shape to close out the season strong.

The Mountaineers are taking a good team to the woodshed right now. That may change in the second half. But ISU had better start to hit their threes or it's going to be an embarrassing blowout.

I guess after ISU loses, they'll be dropped to #26 with us moving to #27. lol

I think we should just unrank all the big 12 teams except kansas because we have the most competitive conference out there.

Also, if KU wins and WVU pulls off this win, the top 4 in conference eleven games into the schedule will be:

KU
UT
OU
WVU

No OSU, no KSU, no ISU, no Baylor. So funny...

WV just has the energy tonight and ISU....well...doesn't. This is a big game for OU regarding the standings. I figure we would be battling ISU and Texas for 2nd. ISU doesn't have a lot of probable losses left on the schedule. Their toughest games left are at K-State, Texas, at Baylor, and OSU. At worst, they will win at least two of the aforementioned games. They are now looking at 12-6 and possibly 11-7 to finish the conference.

So it looks like it will be us and Texas fighting for second. Not to leave out K-State, but they have KU tonight and still have to go to OU and OSU (with Smart back). The good news is if we beat Texas, we will own the tie-breaker against them and will probably own the tie-breaker against ISU at this point.

As we speak, WV is up 25....wow.

Getting a little chippy now. Hogue with a flagrant 1 on a rebound (with a kick) and Eron Harris follows that up with a flagrant 2 and is ejected....all in a 30 pt game with under 5 minutes left.

What is up with espn sucking up to osu, isu, baylor, and kansas when it comes to big 12. It's really getting old

And Hogue from isu should have definitely got ejected for doing that. You can't just karate kick a guy in the chest and get a flagrant 1

WVU has been playing good basketball for about a month now, that's why I didn't say much after we lost to them. That was a tougher game than most believed.

So far this season, the OU team has not been blown-out anywhere.
K-State blew out Texas in Manhatten, but not OU.
WVU blew-out Iowa State in Morgantown, but not OU.

OU had a chance to win both of those road games. It seems that OU has become a "tough out." The game in Lawrence will be interesting.

I have a good feeling about the game in lawrence. I think we can keep it close. Will need bennett to play well though.
