Jalen Hill

I think Moser has a lot to do with it. I have always liked Hill but wished he would be more assertive on offense. He seems to step up at crucial times but is still not assertive all of the time. That is not so bad in the Moser offense.

I really like some of the concepts Moser has about the game. One of my favorites is helping players understanding the difference from surviving at this level vs competing. Hill has begun to compete a lot more.

I’ll bite… yes he played great last night.. and has been much better this season…

Prob a lot to do with Moser and giving him opportunities. I still cringe a little with his ball handling… he’s not “smooth” at all but got it done last night.

I do love his FT stroke… dude is smooth.

Would love for him to play with that aggression every game.

Frank Booker's stroke was 10x smoother than Cousins', and don't even get me started on watching him bring the ball down the court. My value on "smooth" has gradually declined over the years.

Maybe ball handling isn't the right description. His strength with the basketball was impressive under pressure. Would I like to see him handling the ball 1-on-1 full court, no. But he was strong with the ball against the pressure and made the right passes, etc. That's important.

I’d actually feel better with him handling it than Harkless. It reminded me a bit of how RO would occasionally bring it up against West Virginia to give TY a breather against the pressure.

Completely different player. I'm pleasantly surprised with his progress. Moser seems to know how to pull the best out of players, or at least, in Hill's regard.
