Yeah people love to bag on Cal, but dont' think he's cheating. Camby way back in the day was very fishy, but the Rose thing was at worst not digging too deep into the kid's academics that were on the surface okay.



I also think he legitimately cares about helping his players get to the NBA, more so than any other coach out their, and recruits know this.

For a guy who can't coach Kentucky made a pretty nice adjustment on Stauskas in the 2nd half of that game yesterday.

Cal has taught these guys the type of effort it takes to win against top competition. This only helps them prepare for the nba where the effort required is another notch higher in intensity. You never see OU under Kruger getting after it the way all these sweet 16 teams have.

There was a point when Randle was a top 2-3 pick. At best, he is fourth now, and I'd bet money he isn't even top 4 when the actual draft occurs. I'm not saying he'll fall to 15th. He won't. But he isn't top 3-4, and at that point, a team like the Celtics aren't going to take him, so he'll fall until a team needs a guy like him. I really don't think his measurements are going to help him much either.

Randle has short arms, no right hand or left shoulder moves, and has already moved down most draft boards. He'll be solid, might even make an AS game or two, but won't be great.

I see his ceiling as Zach Randolph.
