Be sure to not miss Hosok Tere, the McDonald's (the most beautiful one in the world) in the building by Eiffel (it is in the Western Train Station - Nyugati Palyaudvar), Felszabadulas Ter (Liberty Square), or Margit(Margaret) Island. And certainly don't fail to eat at Kis Italia at least once. I love just walking down Vaci Utca to mingle with the crowds. And for the greatest view in Budapest, just spend some time at Fishermen's Bastion near Matthias Templom - and don't miss the statue of St. Istvan (King Stephen I) nearby. If you get to Esztergom be certain to visit the Christian Museum - one of my favorite places in all of Hungary.
