Just curious, but wouldn't 4* indicate D1 capability? If not major, at least mid-major potential?

My first thought, when I saw his last name, he must be related to Louis.

I remember in the 1980 game, we were on the game winning drive and Louis recovered a fumble that would have stopped the drive deep in Nebraska territory. A few plays later, Buster Rhymes took a pitch and went about 50 yards to inside the 20 yard line. We scored a few plays later and won the Big 8 championship that year.

Weren't Louis and his family driven from New Orleans by Katrina and as I remember several of his teammates helped with his relocation.

Yes, that's correct. He now lives in DFW, or did right after Katrina.
