Khadeem Lattin

So we have front court kids coming in. What about a shooter and a small forward or do we stay with the 3 guard lineup? Pretty stoked on the latest pickups.:woot

Unless we get a late bloomer or a transfer. I dont think we take a guard. Guards are limited this year and most the good ones are taken!

Dont worry about 1-5... thats been out the window along time!

247Sports currently has him rated as the 65th best player in the USA.

With 5 young guards in the program (2 frosh and 3 sophomores), the addition of high school post players to the 2014 class seems ideal. This team could be something else when Buddy, Je'lon, Isaiah and Spangler are seniors.

The future of the program looks bright, and exciting.

All those folks saying he cant recruit, probably wont comment today. We still have some work to do though!

Great prospect. The way Bennett has reportedly developed you can see Lattin/McNeace filling his shoes in a couple years hopefully a notch higher. They both seem to be in his mold.

Great news! :woot

Lattin reminds me a little of Harvey Grant. Long, lean, athletic forward with a huge upside. I like what I saw in the highlight video, and also liked the confidence he shows in the profile blip.

Very impressed with the pick-up. Glad to hear some positive recruiting news for a change.

Is this a bigger, better, Skeeter Jr. who looks like he will never qualify to come to OU?
Very good news today for OU basketball.

"How he fits: Coach Lon Kruger has a young player in Khadeem Lattin that makes his team and individual defense better immediately. Latin is a rim protector, shot blocker and rebounder on defense and a run-the-floor and drop-off pass-finisher on offense. Latin is a diamond that Kruger could shape and develop into another Sooners great. He has the potential to be talked about in the same sentence as Blake Griffin, Harvey Grant and the late, great Waymon Tisdale."

Ummm... Wow.

That is worth repeating. Wow!

Very good news! Recruiting is looking good and on the upswing. I'm extremely happy to get this young man. :woot :woot :woot :woot :woot

This a great pickup!!!!!!!! If he's anywhere near as good as his grandpa was, then our fan base is in for quite a treat!

Maybe this will quiet some of the scoffers (re: Coach Kruger's recruiting). This kid looks like the real deal and I won't be surprised if CLK gets a few more bigtime recruits in the 2015 class.

Yep, I agree.

And, I think some of the lower rated guys he has signed will surprise some folks too.
