A couple of early tweets on the news:

@ChronBrianSmith: Houston native Khadeem Lattin's grandmother died last night. "I've got to win for Grandma." @OU_MBBall @FinalFour

@AnnabelStephan: #OU's Khadeem Lattin mentions his grandmother passed this AM. He says she was so excited he would be playing in @FinalFour in his hometown.

Geez.. i would be destroyed.. i hope he can win for his grandma.

Man, there's been a ton of tragedy hitting the team during the tournament. They've been incredibly mature and letting it fuel their play. Hopefully they're still able to dig deep and do that.

Thinking of Khadeem today.

She had stage four cancer, at least she's at peace. Horrible, horrible shame. Between this and Manyang ' s brother up in Minnesota, I hope this team circles the wagons and lifts each other. Khadeem could surprise us all with that kind of added fire.

That sucks. I am sure she was so excited to see this game in person. Now she will watch from another dimension. Maybe she can appeal for a little divine intervention.

So we have had Manyang's brother
James' three friends
and now Lattin's grandma.

This is crazy. Then add in all the deaths involved with the thunder this season and it is just nuts

What a sweet face she had. A lovely lady, may she rest in peace.
