I know some well respected recruiting people have suggested Matt Freeman would be a top 50 guy had he played it the States. What is McGusty's ranking?

Kameron McGusty is a top 50 recruit depending on the service or even the timeframe. I've seen him as high as #36 (when he committed last summer).

I think it's the best class so far for Kruger. I'm not sure where Strong would be ranked with the jucos, but McGusty, Doolittle, and Freeman are all close to being top 50 recruits.

Young is a junior this year. He graduates from HS in May of 2017.

He is a junior this year. He will finish his senior year at a prep school.

Young for 2017 I have seen as high as 23.

This is awesome. If OU can land Bolden it would be a hell of a class. Plus we can't forget that we got the kid from Rockwall (I can't recall his name as I type this). I think that kid was highly regarded out of high school.

I just looked up Austin Grandstaff. ESPN had him as 50th on their top 100. That is some major talent to add for next season and two of them will have practiced with the team for half a season.

Austin was a consensus 4-star player out of high school. Ou will have added 4 new 4-star players to the roster next season!

On paper, this would almost have to be Lon's best class. As a practical matter, however, the class that included Buddy and Isaiah has worked out well, wouldn't you think?

Yes getting buddy and cousins , plus the signing /transfer of Spangler will more then likely be Lons best class he has here at Oklahoma .
