Kruger hasn't set starting lineup

Hmmm "the top 7 will get most of the minutes". Assuming Fitz, Osby & Clark are locks in the top 7 Who are the other 4? Pledger is likely, 1 of Blair or Grooms has to be included, that only leaves 2 others out of Blair/Grooms, Neal, Newell, Arent, Washington.

Sam?

I'll guess the 7 are Fitz, Osby, Clark, Grooms, Pledger, Newell, Neal. The other guys only play if we're in foul trouble.

I'm not a big Blair fan but I think he will play more than Newell. Hope I am wrong. Blair did improve his defense as last year went along and he has good penetrating ability. We will need two point guards. Newell seems to be more of a shooting guard.

Grooms, Pledger, Cam, Osby, Fitz, Arent, and one of Blair/Newell

Leaves Washington, Neal, and the other guard Blair/Newell for the rest.

I've gotta think Washington plays ahead of Arent.

That quote is sort of a throw-away line actually. He basically mentions everyone on the roster in his answer about who's going to get playing time, but also says the thing about the top 7 getting the bulk. I'm guessing most everyone will get a chance to show their stuff early. It's hard to tell because he's basically just BS'ing and saying words to say them, but I don't really get the sense they know what they have with this team yet.

I've gotta think Washington plays ahead of Arent.

Based on what? That might be the case, but if they are anywhere close to equal in terms of production, Arent should get the nod given his size and the fact that he'll be around next year.
