I think TT is playing even better this game....

McKenna playing well, the limitations compared to Maddie show themselves from time to time. But I do like her.

Maddie w/ 3 fouls hasn't played much, which is a shame cause I thought I saw a new intention today. Extra intent on being aggressive could be the cause for the fouls, but I like it.

Gabbi playing some off-guard with TT, just another rotation we can go to.

KK and Vivi playing solidly.

Derek playing solid, but Idk why Sherri keeps putting Gioya in at the 4. Where Derica is limited, Gioya can contribute. Where Gioya is limited, Derica can contribute. Just makes sense to play her there instead of 4. Could be because it doesn't really matter against the zone since Maddie is the only one that can really play the high post decently.

All in all we look solid, great first quarter, could be better the second but its a game of runs.

I think if Sherri would go to a full court press, We would jump out to a 25 point lead pretty quick.

We had 11 turnovers...not good. Fortunately, KSU turned it over 12.

We are trying to apply pressure but KSU is handling the pressure better than they did earlier.

We really couldn't get the regulars going. Kay Kay only took five shots, ending up with a lot of free throws. She and Vivi were 16 of 18 from the line. K-State's Weismann, the leading FT shooter in the conference, missed as many as they did. Derica and Vivi came up huge. Gabbi wasn't bad, hitting 3 of 5 for ten points. Peyton couldn't hit from the field at all. Had some nice assists.

I question the illegal screen foul on Maddie (#4), but if you watch the charge in slow motion, it sure looks to me like the defender had both feet on the line, meaning no charge. I thought she also stepped in a little late. But, I thought the officials got a little too involved in general today, 47 fouls. It was a tough game, but not that many fouls.

Glad we had Vivi.

Maddie and Peyton have got to get in a groove quick. We can't beat good teams when they have more turnovers and fouls than points.

Why can't we all play well the same day?

You are only as good as your veterans, and our veterans are too inconsistent right now. They need to get it together for us to be a good team.

I think the loose ball and the fifth foul were both not good calls ether... Disappointing because she came out with a purpose today I felt like- I thought we were gonna see something big from her.

After the first quarter, a really ugly game. Just an observation. We stopped half court pressing them and didn't really bring it back until late. I was hoping we would continue to exploit their zone like in the first quarter, but we quit moving and cutting. We just didn't create 3 on 2 or 4 on 3 situations in the offense to give us relief. It didn't help we missed some chippies either. Rebounding was pretty good all around, every one contributed. I like the resilience of this team. They keep fighting and playing solid defense to keep us in games and hold on to our leads. Derica, Vivi, and Kaylon are starting to become go to players, as well as McKenna and T'ona showing toughness and dependable. We made this game harder than it had to be, but I really like how the kids are playing together and not afraid to win. On to Stillwater and 3 in a row.

My seat had a good view of the illegal screen call. She was still moving.
The 5th foul was not a foul. She swiped at the ball, but missed everything, ball and player. Phantom foul. Guess this set of referees liked blowing their whistles, cause they did it way too often.

Very frustrating officiating. If that was home cooking, I would hate to get those three officials on a road game.

Its great to have bench players and what-- 4th or 5th options stepping up?? I like our team. I think Texas is gonna have a tough time beating us.

The biggest concern is, we need more guards coming off the bench who can score. It really hurts when two guards like Peyton and Maddie have bad games on the same night and we don't get scoring off the bench either.
