Cobb obviously was cut out of the loop when the agent got what he wanted and now Cobb is flipping on him and the family. Cobb is EXACTLY what is wrong with AAU.

Doubt if the Sqwaks will catch anything for this(As much as I'd love for them to get caught. They definitely know how to cheat). Dirty system, agent, coach, and family. nothing to see here.
It's been close to ten years with the sh!tstorm here in KC with Myron Piggy and the AAU/summer ball cesspoll. That mwas my first look into that mess. I know we talk about it on the women's side and I'm sure it's even worse on the mens.

Now not to sound like I'm totally defending Self here but did you read the article? What exactly did Bill Self do or the staff? From what I can tell the family members took money in order to direct McLemore to the NBA.... No? It's not like KU took money from this guy or even knew about him. I doubt anything comes of this as far as KU is concerned.

I posted in jest mostly. But, I have noticed a lot of sympathetic/pro KU posts from you over the past few years. I have oftened wondered if you are Cheno's less obnoxious younger brother...
I am very sensitive to pro KU posts. I think I have a problem.
I'll be the first to admit cheating goes on everywhere. It happens. I just don't get how this would benefit Self at all. If anything this hurt him as the way I took is that the agent wanted to make sure McLemore declared for the draft. With KU losing everybody I'm sure Self would have loved if McLemore pulled a Marcus Smart and came back.

No sign here Self did anything wrong, but that doesn't really matter in the end. If a family member received money from anyone, that compromises McLemore's eligibility. Doesn't matter who else knew. That would mean kansas forfeits all games in which he played.
Of course, nothing will happen. The NCAA is a mess. Their complete bungling of the Miami investigation might lead to a complete overhaul of the system. They're not going to worry about something like this right now.

USC didn't forfeit any games with Reggie Bush so I highly doubt Kansas would have to forfeit anything even if the NCAA wasn't a mess.
