It appears their lack of depth and not having a leader like Mason is having a pretty good effect on their early season play.

Self is still their coach and undoubtedly they will get better as the season goes on....especially when/if they get Billy Preston back. But they don't appear to be anywhere close to a juggernaut this year.

I've watched WV a couple of times.....they play in spurts and sometimes they don't play too smart, but they should be a factor.

Texas is much improved and may be a contender....

most folks up here don't believe that will ever happen..but who knows after break.

Don't forget that when conference play starts most of their games and all of their home games will be 8 against 5
