I don't get this arrogance about storming the court. Things like that are part of what makes college sports great. I wish OU fans would care enough to storm the court more often.

We did last year when we beat Kansas. We are back to a point where we should be above it

That was ridiculous. No one was even looking to rush anyway. They surrounded the court against KU last year and got run over. Doesn't it make more sense to do what KSU security did and just protect the player handshake line?

We play all the teams we're competing with for second place at home....KSU, UT, WVU. We just have to win. They have the more difficult road at this point.

Exactly. Last year we were unranked after three straight years of not making the tournament, and beat a top-10 KU team.

This year, we are back to being one of the "haves," so a home victory over a top-10 OSU was not worthy of rushing the court.

My point was that KSU makes themselves look more like KU's whipping boy by rushing the court, when KSU has been pretty good every year for a while.

I'm with you. Only two games out of first place right now, with two very winnable games coming up and a third that should be close. At home against Tech on Wednesday, at Stoolwater on Saturday, and at home against Kstate the following Saturday (I'll be there and I'll be loud!!).

I agree 100%, by the way. I don't understand why people want to crush the passion of college sports. It's what makes it great!

I also went back to read the meltdown thread after OSU lost to Tech, something I had not done until now. The pic of Ford with the Titanic sinking in the foreground was so funny I nearly fell out of my chair laughing. I assume someone on the OSU board created the photo. Very clever to say the least! And, I might say, an appropriate picture of the direction that program has been headed lately
