Regardless of what happens, these guys fought like crazy the last month to make the tournament. Left it all on the floor, showed incredible improvement, and didn't let the mid-season losing streak impact their attitudes or effort. I hope we make the tournament, because we're going to have a shot to beat quite a few teams.

As an example of improvement -- our defensive rating at Ken Pom has improved from 165+ in the beginning of February to 108 after tonight's game. Playing at a really high level the last 11 games.

exactly, i will never bring myself to cheer for losses. Just for a bad season to end soon enough. Wish this season had 1 more game to play tomorrow for sure, it was fun cheering for this team the past 3 weeks.

After the 9 game losing streak, I expected us to slump into Nashville with a very low seed and for Porter to be fired backstage on Wednesday afternoon at Bridgestone Arena.

Now I expect it to be in a Monday morning meeting in Norman with Roger Denny after a heartbreak on Sunday's selection show.

I’m sad tonight, but proud of their effort. We gave them a real battle and it took an elite effort by a future NBA lottery pick to eliminate us by a basket. I think we’re a tourney team, but the nine game losing streak may be too much to overcome.

I'm all for giving the team credit for the last 3 weeks because they played their asses off and fought like crazy. But where in the hell was this effort/execution for the first 2/3 of the season? And that is what drives me crazy. We could have been a 4 or 5 seed if we would have buckled down from the start. And yet as always under this coaching staff, we are fighting to be even semi-relevant. Hope we sneak in....but I can't in good conscious support more of this crap moving forward.
