I am sticking by what I said before the season. The only way Capel would get canned is if OU went 0-16 in conference. I think he gets one more year but he has to make the NCAA Tournament or he is GONZO!!!!!

Other than this kind of stuff, what else is there to talk about on this forum?

Now, if your suggestion is that we just log off and come back this summer after all the dust settles, im all for that. But if your suggestion or expectation is for everyone to be content with one thread about the struggles of the program, well, not gonna happen.

Every loss creates new issues, new threads, more people jumping ship, etc... Therefore, its easy to see why more threads pop up as the team continues its Getting Ass Kicked tour.

Would anyone be willing to start/donate to a fire capel money drive? I keep hearing money is the issue. I'd rather OU pay the buyout than to have to deal with another bottom dwelling year.

I'm sort of kidding and sort of interested to see if a grassroots campaign could be started in some fashion...

One of the mods PM'ed me last year and told me Capels mom posts or reads the posts.

He said she told him she didn't like one poster...not sure if it was me, nick, or somebody else.

I am a glass half full kind of guy, so I want to see another season if he can land a recruiting class that will contribute next season. So if he lands a solid class to fill our needs, I think he has to go a minimum 9-7 in conference and make the tourney. If we lose out on our targets and get stuck with just signing bodies again, I will have to say that the ship has sailed and fresh blood is the only way to get a positive momentum going again.

Missing out on the key recruits and signing a bad class is about the most depressing thing I can imagine. OU must bring in two guys that can play and that assumes Osby is going to be good.
