Yeah I don't know if we would have won any more games but it's possible that we could have considering solomon gives more energy, and is a better defender. And Lindy makes 3s at a higher clip than mcgusty.

But that wasn't the point. It was simply comparing players
 
Both of those guys would be quality backups. You're in trouble if you're starting them in the Big XII, though.

They are starting at OSU and we are 1-1 against them and have virtually the same record.

They also don't have a Trae Young type talent on their team. Solomon would start over Lattin.

Lindy, not sure about. But he would play similar minutes as McGusty
 
Waters is better than McGusty. He will prove that next year.

I'd take Solomon in a heartbeat and our post game would be significantly improved. And Waters does a good job moving without the ball, has a decent jumper, and plays hard defense. I'd quickly take him as well.

What he means to say is they are white.

Every player mentioned is s solid Big XII player. I would take the OU guys sthleticismand the OSU guys effort. But all have skills.

It is his first amendment right. He was a kid goofing around.

I am positive my friends and I said and did stupid stuff in high school. We just didn’t live in an era where everyone saw it due to the internet and social media. I suspect you did far worse as a child. I know I did

Lattin is not a good player, so starting over him is irrelevant. Lindy is significantly worse than McGusty, a guy I'm not that high on in the first place. Just because a bad OSU team went 1-1 against a bad OU team doesn't mean much. OSU is going to go 7-11 in conference and be in the NIT. That's a direct result of having guys like Mitchell Solomon and Lindy Waters starting for them.

Solomon is a starter in the Big XII and his coach calls him the team MVP. You call him Trash. The white players are routinely criticized on the Internet. I hope that does not impact you but it clearly does impact a lot of people.

Saying something around a group of friends & posting something on social media with pictures are two completely different things. Also NN had a school shooting at the time, I don't think it was overblown at all.

A coach calls a player like that the MVP because of all the little things he does & what he brings to the table that other, more talented, players don't. That'd be like saying Spangler was OU's MVP or Draymond Green is the Warriors MVP. It's shedding light on an undervalued player and appreciating what the coaches & players recognize that the fans & media overlook.

I couldn’t say that. I didn’t grow up with social media. Regardless I don’t think his post was that big of a deal. There wasn’t a shooter in the high school. It was a false alarm and he made a joke.

Speak to the kid and let it go. I can assure you the night of vandalism I participated in high school was far worse. What is the worst thing you did? James teaches us not to be the judge. I try (and fail regularly) to follow that advice.

I'm not judging the kid, he made a terrible choice, I don't hold a grudge or think that is the type of kid he is off 1 instance. But being a D1 recruited athlete you are under more scrutiny. That all to the side I would have rather OU have McGusty then and now.

I have a sarcastic sense of humor, if someone got me saying the jokes I say around my close group of friends I would get hammered by the media if I was anyone the media cared about. But I don't say those jokes when there are people I don't know around & I especially don't put those things on social media because I don't believe them because they're jokes.
