I am SO glad something like this was done. Awesome to have so many great OU players in attendance. What a great day for our program. Let the healing begin.

During the Post Game Picture, Big Time and myself were standing next to Barry Honore and he said that they have sold the old court and the new court is still being finished, but is two weeks behind

Going to this made my week. Hope they put together another, bigger one sometime in the future. Seeing so many beloved faces reminded me of others that couldn't make it for whatever reason. Would love to see Mookie, Ryan Minor, Najera, Johnnie Gilbert, etc...

Major props to 80-something-year-old Keith Miller for suiting up for the game.

Also very nice to see Ricky Grace back today. I don't think he was able to make it in 2008 when we honored the 88 team. He looked good.

My sentiments exactly, Tony. The two boys we took to the game couldn't stop talking about it. They had a ball, and I did, too. My grandson and his friend wanted to know if they could go to another game like that soon. They were very disappointed when I replied, "maybe next year." lol

As for the crowd, I'd say it was closer to 5000 than the earlier estimates. Doesn't matter, though. Everyone had a good time and they cheered like a crowd twice that size.

blair as well. i didn't recognize him he's trimmed down so much. great to see.

also gotta give my boy chris black some love. helluva game. scored more points today than he did his entire career at OU.

today was a great day. it had that nba-all star game vibe to it where they clown around for 35 minutes, but the final five got really competitive and gave us a tremendous finish. loved seing hawk diving to the floor trying to get a steal 20+ feet from the bucket. great day.
