LOL @ Hillbilly Ford

Please. Scott Drew is John Wooden compared to hillbilly. Drew took Baylor from the ash heap of the virtual death penalty to the NCAA tournament in 5 years, then an Elite 8 and has another top 15 squad this season.

And he's a year younger than Hillbilly who has 1 NCAA win ever and at OSU his team has won fewer games every season he's been there. Every year thebigOSU, etc pimp OSU and they suck because Ford is by far the worst coach in the conference. OU fired a far superior Coach than Hillbilly in Capel.

The Capel comparison is a real stretch.

It was a bit of a joke. I am not qualified to determine the worst coach in the Big XII. All I know about all of the coaches in the Big XII is that many are younger than me and all of them make a lot more money than me.

That's how many games behind the conference champion OSU has finished in the Big 12 standings since Ford took over. It gets worse every year.

I'd probably be bragging about my conference finishes, too...

Although Im sure the OU fans can stick up for themselves, Im sure they like you more now that you got involved even though you have no dog in the fight. Congrats on that, mission accomplished.

I have two reasons for not liking OSU/Ford.

1. Ford played his freshman year here then bailed on the team. F him.

2. OSU beat Mizzou, a loss that makes a win in Lawrence necessary to win a share of the Big 12 title. Without that loss, MU could lose that game and still share the conference crown.

So OSU and Ford can kiss my ass.

This is entirely false. Remember, according to some Poke fans Ford has improved their program...

Ford will have his best team in 5 years next season so if he doesn't make the tourney he will be gone. If we don't make the tournament next year than its going to be a very short tenure for Kruger because if we can't make it next year we wont make it the year after.

Disagree. Kruger is here for a while. It will take some time to clean up the Capel mess. We will be allot better next year with 5 starters returning, M'Baye and the recruiting class which will hopefully include a juco big man.

This. Plus, I wouldn't be surprised to see a big transfer in from another major program. From what I've seen and heard, Kruger likes transfers and they seem to work out well for OU. Imagine this team w/o Osby and look how excited we all are for M'Baye.

Next year instead of CJ (who I love but he's really a 2nd or 3rd option on a normal OU team off the bench), OU will either bring M'Baye or Fitz off the bench. That's seemingly a 10-12 ppg improvement off the bench from this year.

Then, factor in that you have Hield and Hornbeak off the bench at guard instead of just Carl Blair. I'd be willing to bet those two average about 14-15ppg between the 2 of them. The best thing about that is that Cam will be able to focus more on rebounding and defense, both his strengths, instead of having to be a scorer too. It also seems like Neal is coming out of his major slump and can provide valuable minutes.

I'm really excited to see what Pledger can do with more scorers and shooters around him. Rivals says Hield is the best perimeter scorer coming into the Big 12 next year. If that's true, the Pledger is going to see a lot more open looks.

Realistically, MBaye will avg around 8ppg. Hornbeak and Hield will avg around 7ppg combined.

I think 8 is low for M'Biaye.

I think if he averaged 8, hield and hornbeak averaged 7...we'd be in pretty good shape next year. Look at Neal, Clark, Blair, and their averages... Clark even. Depth is probably what we need the most and those guys at the very least provide viable depth. Look at the second halves of these games...

I disagree about Ford. The cowgirls don't care about basketball anymore...they are a football school! And I don't think they can afford to let him go now.

OSU COULD have a solid team next season. The key is the potential return of Darrell Williams on the boards. Rebounding is a huge problem this season and that is where he excels. Hopefully his issues are done this spring.

Rebounding will always be a problem if you go with 4 guard lineups. Today they played Jurick and Cobbins down low together and they killed on the boards.
