LOL @ Oklahoma Aggy

I know this isn't a FB board, but anytime we go on the road and play a Top 25 team in November it is hard for me to get anything more than cautiously optimistic. The only difference between this year and most years is that we'd already lost one at home.

As to the defense, based on the apparent talent we have out there, it is the worst. That said, the style of offense we play isn't doing them any favors either when we come up against a team with any semblance of talent on offense. Football is a team sport, no wonder BV is starting to lose his hair, his OC won't let him keep his kids off the field for more than 5 minutes at a time.

Talent alone doesn't win games. And OSU has a few defenders that would definitely make our two deep, and maybe start. Our defense is VASTLY overrated. Too hit and miss.

Agreed. Markelle Martin would be a substantial upgrade over any safety on our roster not named Tony Jefferson.

In all honesty, Skyvue, you make a good point. I was looking at things from a "logical" perspective (I'm analytical to a fault) rather than a "fan talking a little harmless trash about his rival" perspective. I thought Boca's comments were way off, albeit harmless if it hadn't been for the timing of the tragedy.

With that said, Boca mentioned that no one on OSU could make OU's two-deep defense? After last night, I'm wondering how many OU defensive starters could make Alabama's two-deep defense. Maybe four? I honestly didn't think we'd lose the game, but have been wary of our defense all year long. I've concluded this is our worst defensive team since 1997. Yeah, Blake's last year had a better defense than this team, though it had nothing to do with him. If you remember, we had a pretty good d-coordinator in '98.

OU would have much more than just 4 starters on defense make the two-deep on Bama's defense. 4 would perhaps be the maximum number of players starting on Bama's defense, but as far as two-deep is concerned, I'd bet it would be quite a bit more than that.

Give Briles and Baylor credit for taking care of certain mismatches on OU's defense. With that being said, the shortcomings of a few players on OU's starting unit does not mean the rest of the players on the unit are underwhelming as well. Frank Alexander, Ronnell Lewis, and Tony Jefferson could start almost anywhere in the country.

If only they could have somehow snuck that fraud into our game undefeated.

Looks like we are pulling hard for a UGA SEC Championship and USC victory over Oregon. Of course knowing Stoops Baylor will beat us tomorrow night.

Congrats to Iowa State becoming bowl eligible. We can slot them ahead of A&M and Missouri in bowl selections.

No oops. Just a "I can't believe he did it again".
