Lon Kruger great coach, but bad play

Actually, we managed the end of the game about as well as you can...but we did slip up on a few other occasions: we pulled the press too early, and we stopped going to Osby AT ALL when they went to the zone. Your best player has to touch the ball. Instead we had Hield and Hornbeak firing up threes.

I agree we could have continued pressure but I understand why we backed off. Biggest possessions of the game were the fumbled rebound after the missed free throw that turned into a TCU 3 & not fouling Lynn in the backcourt (who was missing FT's badly) which led to the dunk.

But should have held for he last shot? We got he last shot and it was wide open, couldn't ask for a better look.

And Grooms had hit that shot five or six times in recent games. I know that we totally screwed ourselves with first-half play, but I just feel like we're snakebit. How many single digit losses is that this year?

6 of 10. The other 5 losses came @KU, @KSU, Gonzaga, @ISU. A few bounces of the ball...

The fumbled rebound was huge -- and brutal.

You don't take the easy two and then don't double the best ft shooter.

We should have taken the three and had a chance at a rebound if we missed.

I think you would see a 50-50 vote on that from the top college coaches.
