Lon Kruger to be named OU coach

OU will have teams that play together, and play really really really tough defense.

I can't remember a team since I've been in LV where UNLV didn't have really good guard play. The main thing they have lacked, IMO, in the last 5 or so years is a really solid bigman, however the bigs they have this year have improved greatly from last year (more than most people thought they would).

I hear that he has a really good class on tap for 2012, I wonder if any will follow him?

I think that OU fans will eventually be really pleased with this guy. He is personable and seems really down to earth, his teams play hard...lots of defensive TO's and fast breaks...I think that he will begin to rebuild our fanbase and our team.

He may never win us a championship, but I guarantee the program will be in much better shape when he leaves than it is now. He could set things up for OU to get that top10 type lifetime coach that will bring championships home.

He's a far better coach than Rick Barnes, Scott Drew, Frank Martin, Hoiberg, Ford, and Turgeon. Depends on who Mizzou gets, but he's probably better than him, too.

He will give Self fits.

This was a complete joke by me. Can't believe it's actually coming true. I've been looking through a lot of threads from "the lost years". Makes the present reality even sweeter.
