We have talked a lot about the incoming freshmen into the Big 12 this fall. Everyone knows about Mulkey, Dungee, Rich, Cox, Holmes, Chou, etc. But, the player I think who will make the biggest impact is Ramirez.

I agree she'll have the green light from the opening tip... She my pick for FOY and I wouldn't be surprised if she leads the confrance in scoring before her time is up...

If you noticed in the McDonald's all star game in the last period the other team put a strong defender on Ramirez and she didn't score. She isn't very quick or tall--she's a one trick pony--3 ball. She will be shut down when OU or anyone else puts a defender on her and stays on her. She's not really strong slashing to the basket.

I do agree that Amber isn't the quickest PG and that's something I am always concerned about. I have little doubt she will find ways to score the basketball but, the real question is, can she defend her position. It will be interesting to find out how she answers that question.
