i wonder if he looks here again.
As I pointed out in another thread in which this topic came up, Norman is every bit as close to Dallas as Austin is, so hopefully Bolden gives us another look.
I hope he looks at a map! He would be great for us even having to sit out a year. Hopefully Larry Brown didn't leave behind his guys who know how to make a guy commit.
Agreed, unfortunately TCU or SMU will probably get him with both of their programs surging.
They both had the same amount of NCAA tournament wins this year as OU
Closer to his hometown, TCU won the NIT & SMU had a great year. I hope he goes to OU, but those 2 had way better seasons and they have a good future just like us.
I know I was just messing around. A little Monday morning humor
Seems extremely odd that he would go through the whole recruiting process with OU, take an official visit here, and then not consider us when he transfers.
According to Adam Rowe, Bolden is expected to transfer to a school closer to Dallas. Texas, SMU and TCU were named as possible destinations for the former McDonald's All-American.
In an update on that page, Rowe now says it's not confirmed he'll transfer, but in any case, his statement of the candidates for his transfer reads, "Sources maintain that Bolden is expected to transfer closer to his Dallas home -- either TCU, SMU or Texas."
Given we don't know who those sources are, I'd like to think Bolden would still consider OU, if he does transfer (full disclosure: I do NOT qualify as a source regarding his inclinations). Those sources could be Duke people who don't even know how close Norman is to Dallas.
Looking at it logically, if he really wants to be close to home hes most likely going to SMU or TCU. SMU has Shake and some other really good parts, and he can make them better. TCU has a lot of guys returning from an NIT champion. To me, OU is a longshot here.
He's staying at Duke
