I just didn't understand WHY he would trade last draft for this one? This draft is just so deep whereas last seasons was comparatively poor. Now he's played like crap and teams have so many choices they can make.

Smart has been quoted as saying he came back to improve his perimeter shooting. He did that in the non-conference games. In eight Big 12 games he is shooting 34.6% from the floor and 22% from beyond the arc. OUCH!

His poor shooting and his antics on the floor can't possibly improve his draft stock in (as you correctly pointed out) a much deeper draft than last year. He'll still go in the first round. But one has to ask, is he really ready or would coming back for another year be a wise decision?

Agreed! Booger Pickens is up to no good with these players going to osu for no reason. I think TF was his pick and I'm sure he agreed to let Holder give him 10 year contract so he's gonna do everything in his power to get the playas!

You could probably find 25 posts from many on this board last year shaking our heads in amazement that Marcus Smart wasn't entering that incredibly weak draft. Now he will be compelled to enter this draft, if he stays another year NBA teams will think there's something really wrong with him, and the more he plays and throws tantrums and flops he will fall even further. What an incredible mistake.
