Since she was one of the Oklahoman's Super 5 First Team, who is recruiting her? It doesn't mention anything about her having signed with anyone or being recruited by anyone.

Being on the Oklahoman's Super Five First Team is not entirely synonymous with being the type of player who is highly recruited by elite NCAA Division I basketball programs. High school awards and college basketball potential are often not closely linked.
Wallace has a relatively brief basketball background with a history of serious knee injury. If there is even one player out there with equal or greater potential who is a good student and citizen, then if that player has no history of serious knee injuries, she's likely to see more interest from college recruiters than the player who has had those injuries.
I'm using that as an example. Some schools will be willing to take a chance with a player if they believe that there's a reasonable chance that the gamble will pay off. Others feel like they can't afford to make risky decisions on a gamble. It has less to do with the player than with the philosophy of the college program and its head coach.
Right now there's the real possibility that within the next month or so OU's roster could be filled - for the next couple of years - with scholarship players, signees, and committed prospects. OU is in the relatively comfortable position of being able to sit back and look for the best of the best in the near future. I hope Sherri can take advantage of that role, and as far as I know, she might have made good on that advantage already.
All we can really do is wait and see what develops. I have a pretty strong respect for Sherri's ability to evaluate recruits, which seems to be getting better all the time. I don't know if speaking of that has anything whatsoever with Marisha Wallace, but I see many suggestions of local players being recruitable or of D-I quality, and I suspect that a lot of that is simply geographic familiarity.
Oklahoma has less than 1.2% of the nation's population, which means that if the state is average in the production of D-I women's basketball prospects, slightly over 1 top 100 player will reside in Oklahoma in the average year. Less than 6 of the top 500 players will reside in the state in the average year. If the state was a hotbed of women's hoops the number could be higher, but the reality is that the majority of top players are created within the larger population centers of the U.S., not just because of the numbers, but also in general because of the availability of high-caliber competition hones the skills of those players more quickly and completely than in more sparcely-populated regions of the nation.
She went to Northern JC in Enid. She is avg 21.6 pts 7.6 rebounds. At 6'2". She might be better than K Williams. Hasn't shot the three. Avg 61%. ESPN said she signed with OSU. I don't know how she ended up at Northern. Coale should take a look.

Injuries hampered Wallace in high school and might have affected her recruiting. NOC Enid was the lone school she seriously considered.
“Junior college was a better choice for me because there were so many things I needed to work on,’’ she said. “Coming here has allowed me to work on them each and every game so I can advance to another level.’’
YNC please tell me how you came to the conclusion our roster is full for the next couple of years? We have 12 scholarship players with two already gone (hand and cloman) two seniors gets us down to 8 - of those 8 four are juniors. So if we want to get back to just 12 which is low we need 8 new players in the next two years. I only know of 2!
