Maryland vs UCONN

Brenda Frese is a great coach and she has some great athletes. They are giving UCONN all they want right now.

Maryland may be pretty good. They haven't shown that much yet. But, they did beat South Dakota State and trounced Syracuse, both of whom can be problems.

It was dead even until Stewart got the first block of the game by UConn. It triggered an 8-point run, and the Huskies lead by nine after three. Good shooting night by MD.

UConn knows how to win. What seems interesting is that they are even better at the end of the year.

Maryland had 22 turnovers. If they could have kept that down to 10-12, they would have had a chance. They might make the final four for the third time in a row.

Megan Walker is considering both, Maryland and UCONN. Maryland has a great class coming in 2016. If they land Walker too, they will likely keep their final four trips intact.
