SA is reporting that Matt Pilgrim was accused of sexual assault and then had a restraining order slapped on him after he confronted his accuser and she felt scared. This is the 4th or 5th incident involving an OSU FB or BB player being accused of sexual assault in the last 5 years or so.

Maybe I'm just not remembering things, but I can't remember the last time an OU athlete was accused of this. Am I wrong? If I was an OSU fan, I'd be really embarrassed about all this attention.

This was reported months ago, and no charges have been filed. The proceedings going on right now are to determine whether or not the protective order will be upheld.

there is no correlation between a person playing for OU or OSU involving date rape or sexual assault.

I never said it was a Bedlam smack talk. This was the first I had heard of the TRO. Talked to a friend who's a lawyer in Stillwater and was present for the hearing on the restraining order and he said it was very contentious. Sorry for wasting your time.

It was directed as bedlam smack talk by comparing the two schools...

Yes, you wasted everyones time with this babble...but i do understand there are Sooner fans that get excited about other teams problems...

There are also fans of oSu, texas, and a&m that get excited when OU has a problem, thats how some fans are no matter who they cheer for

Not likely anything will happen with this case. The girl in question has accused something like 8 guys of rape during her time in Stillwater.

Wow, someone's an internet tough guy, huh? If it wasted your time why bother to post just to be an ass to a fellow OU fan? I guess you waste your babble on being a prick to others.I don't live on chat boards or revolve my life around college students. This was the first I had heard about it b/c I pay more attention to my family than what OSU athletes are doing or posting all day. My point was that I'm glad OU doesn't recruit these types of players.

I am personally not an OSU fan but I do live fairly close to Stillwater. From what I've heard the girl was talking fairly dirty to the guy, told him to basically come over for a booty call, and then he came over she performed oral sex and the started the rest and she backed out and she said she was raped. One of the 2 hadn't dleted the conversation on the computer. Sounds like she promised a bit more than she wanted to give. I can't blame the guy for going over to a booty call that was offered. Really have to be careful with people being a high profile athlete in a small community.

No means no at any point in the situation. If it is how you described it, it is rape. If it's a situation that happens alot with the athletes in Stillwater, where the priveledged girl feels guilty after she sobers up and daddy finds out then it's not rape. That's where the case lies.

If it did go further you're correct that is rape, but it did not go further than that according to her. In the actual document the girl said she gave him oral sex so "he would go away." I mean come on.

This is all about the protective order there are no charges other than that. Apparently Matt tried to talk to her or something and both got angry and she claims to have been verbally harassed thus she wants a protective order.

Because the only one that I remember is Chris Collins, who was dismissed from the team once he pled guilty.

Anxiously waiting to hear who the other of the "4 or 5" are.
