With all of the excitement surrounding Ro's great game, let's not forget how well M'Baye and Hield played tonight. Amath with 15 points, 5 rebs and a block. Buddy with 12 points, 4 rebs, 4 assists, 2 blocks and 2 steals.

Terrific game, guys!

Terrific game, guys!

I haven't seen the kid at KU but I think Hield might be the best Freshman in the conference. He is doing everything. Defense, three point shooting, penetration, creating shots, passing, and rebounding. He is a player

McLemore's a special talent, and he'll be a top 10 (probably top 5) pick in the upcoming draft. Saw him in person against Ohio State, very smooth player.

McLemore is the best freshman player in the league hands down. However, I doubt any coach trying to build a program would take McLemore over Hield at this point. McLemore will be around two years maximum. Buddy will graduate as a celebrated senior and change the culture of the team and program.

McLemore is the best freshman in the Big 12 this year. He may be a lottery pick if he comes out after this season. But, I wouldn't trade Buddy for any other freshman in the conference right now. He's definitely in my top three, and he keeps getting better.

And I agree with pnk and Ada. Although McLemore may be better right now, I'd much rather have Buddy for the next 4 years than McLemore for one year.

Both are great talents.

McLemore probably fits in with this year's KU team better than Hield would.

Hield probably fits in with this year's OU team better than McLemore would.

I'd love for us to sign a McLemore clone for next year to fit in with next year's OU team. Would solve our loss of Senior scoring.

I'm just glad that KU didn't get both of them.
