i was at the game and did not even notice it.
The "horns down" didn't magically make Texas play like they didn't totally suck. Taking M'Baye out of the game mentally (Osby, among others, getting onto him) and physically (benched for Neal) deflated the whole team. I am way more mad at the way players and coaches messed with our momentum than anything M'Baye did. He's introduced a new attitude, and that's been evident since the OSU game in Norman ("This is our house!").

If he had done that to the whorn bench, in front of their bench, I could see that being a motivating factor. He flashed it to the student section, did he not? I've got a pretty big TV and it wasn't until the announcers started talking about it a little while later that I actually noticed. Just a bunch of media hype about nothing.
I think it was actually to our bench.
Look, it was such a relatively non-issue, I don't even remember where he directed it at!![]()
