That seems to answer my question from yesterday. Definitely makes you wonder how much we should reasonably expect from him if he commits. Hopefully he at least is in shape, unlike Hugley. Always a risk when a guy is coming off surgery and won’t be able to work out or play for a couple months.

At least with this case you can basically have him come in and sit on a corner and just shoot 3s for most of the game for like 15 minutes a game off the bench. Hughley had to play a bigger role and just couldn't.

I hope you’re right, but that will require us to add more good guards who can be your key players.

The freshmen we added Forsyth is supposed to be a decent shooter and the other one is a 3 and D guy from what I've read. Need them to be good enough to play as freshmen most likely.

Beggars can't be choosers. It is not like players are knocking down the doors to get to OU from the portal. We need to fill out the roster.
I mean, the goal is to improve, not just fill scholarships. I’m not against taking the kid if he decides he wants to come to OU. But I hope he is a complimentary player rather than one of our main dudes.

Good dude. Are you a former EC cardinal?
Different Tulsa school.
Why is this guy acting like 25 is knocking on death’s door? If the knee is bad, then the knee is bad and that could be an issue, but 25 is completely irrelevant and I’d almost consider it a good thing lol.
Yeah, I agree.

I think the age is a good thing.

Sounds like a good option off the bench if you ask me. Have to see how it all shakes out, but I think he'd be better off the bench than starting.

B2B!

You are a sad, sad man.

Will you keep mocking us (or pretend like you are “just joking around”) in about 10 months when the two of us non-coaching idiots are again proven right about our squad?

It’s do or die. I haven’t made any predictions yet. Still 3 bodies to add. We’ll see

No tournament no job.

All I said is I thought he'd be better coming off the bench with his skill set, coming off the injury, etc.

But you are so childish, you just had to disagree just to disagree. You didn't need to respond to that. That's that stuff 04 was talking about.

As things sit at 5:20 pm on 4/28. Fluid. Godwin could start, Elvis could get nudged to the bench, etc.

3 more scholarships to play with.

Goodine visited this weekend as we know. Smart money is on OU.

Garrison is in Fayetteville. Who the hell knows. Seems Jonas Aidoo, Arky's first priority, is leaning Baylor's way. We'll see.

OU would still need a PG and another BIG, if Goodine picks OU, and/or Garrison ends up at Texas, (back to) OSU, or Arky. JMO. The coaches could have a whole different plan, lol.

I could get really excited about this if Cooper is legit and we added two guys like Pedulla and Garrison to round out the starting lineup. As is, I'm just gonna need Moser to prove me wrong about the state of the program. I hope these recent commits are not redistribution of the Pedulla/Garrison fund. I haven't watched film on our commits, so perhaps I'm wrong. They seem like solid complimentary pieces without anybody to compliment.

I think Jadon & Elvis were takes regardless. The Goodine injury news kinda makes me think he probably is a back up plan. Having said that, I don’t have any reason to think he will not come back healthy.

Hopefully we get good news on Garrison. If not, we should have some more NIL to throw around.

Edit: of course none of these guys would be our 1st choices out of the portal, but we can’t afford guys those guys.
