Keiton Page. Yeah way different than him. I always compared him to Jordan Woodard. Dayton is bigger, Woodard better 1st step.

He’s not going to come in and light it up year 1. But I believe people who doubted he deserved a scholarship can be at ease.
 
If Forsythe’s game were the exact same, but he wasn’t white and from a small town in Oklahoma, people would be more excited about him.

The kid can play. There’s been nothing to suggest otherwise, and he’s played against some good competition.

I watched the clips. I saw no one in anything resembling a defensive stance. It’s cool that he had a good night but is about as relevant to what he will do in college as a home run derby would be in predicting whether someone would be a good hitter in a game setting.

Come on dude, you didn't watch the clip. (Yes, there is a difference between college team defense and pick up defense, but to say there was no defense or even a defensive stance, would be false - unless your standards are Gary Payton only)

Scoring 30+ points, against peers, is impressive.


Let's look at a breakdown of the plays, bc why not?

- 3 pointer, 2 feet behind the arc (no real defense)
- Shakes defender, solid first step, defender bump, one handed lay-in (tight defense)
- Back door dunk on a breakaway (no defense)
- 3-pointer, 3+ feet behind arc (hand in face)
- Dribbles out of double, amazing first step, hand in face and makes a running lay in (decent defense)
- Amazing first step drive lay in (defender with him all the way, hand in face)
- Amazing first step, defender pushing him away from the lane, he hits a fade back lay in (good defense)
- Amazing crossover (I fell in love), he drives with purpose. Defender foul, tight, with him the whole way (still makes it)
- 3 pointer, 6 feet behind the line (no defense)
- 3 pointer, 6 feet behind the line (hand in face challenge)
- breaks down defender as soon as he crossed half, great handles, cross with purpose, defender gives up when he is beat, easy lay in (meh/bad defense)
- (1:10) great defense, crosses - stopped, crossed into a spin fade away 2 pointer from just inside the 15 (drained) (solid defense)
- comes off screen, open for deep three, changes mind mid air (great body control) finds slip screen cutter for the easy 2
- Cross over step back, into another cross step back deep 2 (decent defense)
