MBB Transfer Portal Thread: Moser Year 4

Ok, kind of hard to go back through every single page to look but I have a question. Since we lost Hughley have we replaced him via portal yet or intend to do so, or are we hoping Northweather, Godwin and the incoming freshman are good enough? Not sure Moore is coming back either...is there any confirmation either way? Thanks in advance!

There won't be official conformation on Moore till he withdraws his name from the draft (or the deadline to withdraw passes).

As for your first question, they have not replaced Hugley and God help us all if they don't.

Moore is coming back unless he texted someone he wanted to portal yesterday and we don't know about it yet. We have not replaced Hugley yet, we intended to, (see: Garrison, Brandon) but have not yet. Nobody knows how good the incoming freshmen will be yet.

If this were pre-NIL days, I would at least entertain the possibility that Moore would stay in the draft and then just decide to play overseas or try to catch on in the G League. But now, he can make more money coming back, so unless he just wants out because of how bad things have gotten, you’d have to think he will come back.

But fr, it will likely take OU having a good amount of $ left to swing an AL kid away from Pearl/AL. They should, right? They were willing to go to $600-800K for Garrison, and somewhere close to $500K for Pedulla. Elvis and Goodine should be in the $200-300K range. Jones maybe a little higher ($300-400K). Sounds right, lol.

So what are the guys getting that stayed? If I’m Sam I’m asking for 100k.. only “decent” big in the program…. This is soooo stupid. Can’t stand this crap.
 
I’m actually not sure players index on anything beyond their current value at this point .. unless it is a NC winning program. Unsure they should since most can’t get into the NBA. So if Sisters of the Poor paid 2M$ a 5* would go play there. College is now the At-Will NBA lol.
