2015 6'1 Wing From Booker T Washington In Tulsa Ok has reopened her recruitment. Was previously committed to TCU.

McCormick said TCU will announce Reagan Scot-Pebley as coach. I hope OU jumps in on her.

TCU used to be the little mid-major that could. Now they're the Big 12 school that can't... can't keep up in big boy football, can't win a Big 12 mens basketball game (this year at least), can't do better than WNIT in women's basketball... do they have a baseball team worth noting?

If you have a chance to go someplace better, now is the time to "reopen your recruiting" :)

I know McKenzie's dad. Next time I see him I will ask him about Mckenzie's situation.

BTW, I think she is a perfect 4 for us, if she would come to OU. I know OU has been recruiting her for a while, but how seriously I don't know. I don't know if they actually ever offered her, we might have. And, I don't know if we are still interested. It may be that after she committed to TCU, we moved on.

I have seen her play and think she is really good. Very similar to Leah Rush in my opinion. 6'1 or 2, very very tough, very competitive, and can really shoot the ball. I'd love to have her.

Do we have a better, uninjured 4 coming in this year or next? Beggars cant be chosers.

Take her.

OU never offered.

As difficult as it has been for us to sign a quality big, one would think OU would have more interest in Ellis and Hailey Tucker than they do.

I agree Norm. IMO both girls would give OU size and versatility that is hard to find.

I saw Haley play this weekend at ORU and her range behind the arc and her size makes her hard to defend.

Who does Tucker remind you of?

That's a good question. I've watched her play since the 3rd grade and have seen her shoot up to 6'2".

She has always been able to shoot the 3 but has never liked contact. I know she wants to pattern her game after Delle Donne and I think if she gets tougher and more aggressive driving to the basket she might convince me.

If she is even in the ballpark with Delle Donne, that says a lot!

Seems like signing so many 2guards in the past has come back to hurt OU a little, we don't have a lot of room left so we might have to hold off on a player like Ellis if your recruiting a 6'5 or 6'6 Beatrice Mompremier

If Sherri can get Mompremier more power to her. But for me it's more about match ups. Ellis and Tucker are match up problems for just about any team they play. They can shoot over a small guard or post them up. They both could take Mompremier out to the three point line and shoot over her or drive to the basket. I've never seen Mompremier but most 6'6" players I know cannot create on their own.

Let It Rain,
Problem 1 - actually getting Mompremier

Problem 2 - having some diversity on the roster.

I've been harping about adding size to the roster. It does not mean that I want 5 x 6-5 girls who can only play center and then a roster of under 6-0 guards.
the roster badly needs more players in the 6-2 range who are athletic and can create their own shot as well.

I couldn't agree with you more Atlanta. Ellis and Tucker are both 6'2" and very skilled.

At this point OU has a lot of 6'1 and 6'2 girls that can shoot 3's we need someone that will get in there rebound and give us points in the paint.

Mompremier who was looking at OU at 1 time, or OU was looking at her is 6'6 true post that can run the floor like a guard and is very athletic (tho she does take plays off) and can Jump, she also looks more impressive then Kai James who OU was hot on in 2013.
