Then he is a fool to leave school. You should never leave if you are not in the first round.
Perhaps. Or perhaps he hated school (or was failing school) and wants to go get paid playing basketball at a pro level. There are plenty of options besides the NBA.
BTW,
Hopefully Warren will perform well at the combines and insure himself a draft spot so he can get paid as well.
If there is any question that Willie could possibly drop to round 2 then he would be retarded to leave early. The best situation for him would be one of the winning teams at the bottom of round 1 with a lot of star veteran leadership to hopefully put him on the right path. The worst thing that could happen to him right now is getting drafted by a losing team without any veterans.
In terms of Willie coming back, he should only be given a scholarship if he comes back on Capel's terms.

Here is an interesting mock draft by DraftExpress.com. They have Willie going to the Thunder at 21 as a shooting guard not point guard. I don't see that happening considering they have Westbrook and Maynor. If this did indeed happen Jeff might have to buy himself some season tickets to Thunder games conidering he would have two players that he recruited personally and played under him. :ez-laugh:

As a Thunder fan, I can say there is no way that happens.
They're already trying to balance the defense of Sefalosha and the overall game of James Harden at the 2, they don't need more traffic at that position.
If they do pull the trigger on a guard, it will be for a pure shooter. That's not Willie's game.
